the xxx root beer drive in! the root beer is delicious and bigger than your head!
i've now officially declared this the summer of root beer.
i might not make it to issaquah very frequently because, come on, it's fucking issaquah. but when i do, i'm drinking the HELL out of some root beer! (it is worth the trip to bland suburbialand.) oh, and i might visit the hatchery and take tiger mountain by strategy. but xxx root beer first!

Leff just told me that root beer is sasparilla and other roots. There used to be a health food shop in South London that sold sasparilla from a big barrel. Huge West Indian guys used to go in and drink gallons of the stuff. They reckoned it had afro-dizziac qualities!

the xxx root beer is an old recipe. the syrup used to be made by the xxx brewers but they've since negotiated with the coke company which now produces the original recipe as part of an agreement.
that's just a long way of saying, it's still awesome root beer! :D!
