another week

this was yet another week not worth talking about. so let's just get to the part where i go on about workish things.

i started photographing old classroom slides from my collection and putting them on my new tumblr, slideshow freak. here's bavaria,

outside of the art institute of chicago

and mount st helen's.

i continued working with obscenities in both toothpaste

and thread (for threadjacker).

i also did some planning for the trip to the uk which, hey, uk peeps! we got our rooms booked! email me if you need details of our trip!

catching up

so what's been going on during my hiatus? eh, things. not much that i feel like writing about, however.

stacie and diane were both in town for a while and, like anyone smart, they weren't super impressed by seattle.  i mean, they like to do things after 6pm, after all.

oh, hello there.  long time, no type, huh?

you might be wondering what i've been up to since i've been on a mini vacation. well, i turned 38 and had some cake.

i also did a lot of reading as most of my presents were of the book variety.

i did take a break to make my poppin sushi kit, however.

it was more fun to make than it was to eat.

to be honest, i wasn't really on vacation.  i got a lot of work done. pax and ak:
