the highlight reel of thursday? two calculators on the glass recycling bin
(i claimed the casio for groc.)
and reading two olive books while watching a humboldt squid documentary.
ok, let me clarify. it was like six minutes of reading and looking at pictures while the humboldt squid documentary was on. olive books are written for kids, after all.
one not so great thing about last night? one of our new neighbors. for the past two nights at 2:30 and 3:00 respectively, he's been slamming into things, throwing stuff around and breaking what sounds like plates. i think he's either got night terrors or is a serial killer. leff, being the more practical of the two of us, thinks the person is still living out of boxes and keeps throwing stuff around in frustration.
whatever the reason is, i'm about ready to kill the fucker.
today i'm making cupcakes since it's a's bday. (happy bday a!!) so, yeah, i'd better get started because he's getting old and it's gonna' take a lot of cupcakes to reach his year tally. hahaha!
(shannon--i'll post your meme soon! i haven't forgotten, i just don't have time to do all the required linking at the moment.)
